Toy Cave website (“Toy Cave”) is a distributor for Greenbean Learning Resources. All products sold on this website are sourced from Greenbean Learning Resources.
Orders
The Toy Cave website allows a person (“user”) to place electronic orders (“order”) for one or more products on offer, provided such products are available.
A purchasing contract (“sale”) between the user and Toy Cave and our distributor Greenbean Learning Resources shall be complete only once the user has placed an order, the payment has been made by the user, and said payment received and acknowledged by Toy Cave.
Important notice regarding product condition
All toys sold on this website come in damaged boxes or packaging. While the toys themselves are in good condition and fully functional, their packaging may be torn, dented, scuffed, or otherwise damaged. By purchasing from the Toy Cave website, you acknowledge and accept that the packaging of your purchased items will be damaged. No returns or refunds will be accepted due to damaged packaging.
Returns and refunds will only be accepted if the actual toy is defective or not as advertised. Damaged packaging does not qualify as a valid reason for return or refund.

– Please note that cash deposit fees are for your account and must be included in the payment.
– Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT)
– For payments from outside South Africa, all bank charges are strictly for your account. Greenbean learning is not liable for bank charges incurred for international bank transfers.
– Payments made after 1 pm will be allocated to the following working day.
Stock availability
Stock of all items remains strictly subject to availability until the tax invoice is issued.
Conclusion of sales and availability of stock
Registered users may place orders for goods, which Toy Cave or our distributor Greenbean Learning Resources may accept or reject. The acceptance or rejection of an order depends on factors including, but not limited to, the availability of goods, correctness of information relating to the goods (including price), and receipt of payment or payment authorisation.
Toy Cave distributor for Greenbean Learning Resources will indicate acceptance of your order by delivering the goods to you or allowing you to collect them. Only at that point will an agreement of sale between you and Toy Cave or our distributor Greenbean Learning Resources come into effect (“the sale”). Toy Cave will indicate rejection of your order by cancelling it and refunding you as soon as possible.
Pricing
All pricing is subject to change without prior notice due to fluctuations such as annual price increases, currency fluctuations, or supplier pricing adjustments.
Sale items
Items on promotion, clearance, or end-of-range are not eligible for return or exchange. No refunds will be processed for these products unless the toy itself is damaged or faulty (not the packaging).
Defective or incorrect items
If your product is defective (excluding packaging damage) or you received the incorrect product, you may return it within 14 working days of delivery. Exchanges or replacements are the responsibility of Toy Cave and our distributor Greenbean Learning Resources. Please notify us of the defective or incorrect product within 48 hours of receipt – after which, Toy Cave has the right to decline the return. The defective product may be repaired or replaced, or you will receive a refund.
Toy Cave will cover the collection charges of the defective or incorrect item.
Cancellation of orders
– Before dispatch: Orders may be cancelled before dispatch unless they are made to order or a special bulk purchase has been placed on behalf of the customer. A 15% handling fee may be imposed.
– After dispatch: Orders cancelled after dispatch will be treated as a return. You have 14 working days to return items for a refund, subject to a 15% handling fee. Delivery charges will not be refunded once the order has been dispatched.
Returns:
If your purchase does not meet your expectations due to a valid issue with the product (excluding packaging damage), you may return it within 14 working days of delivery. Refunds will be processed within 7 working days of the returned item’s arrival. Returns will not be accepted due to damaged packaging or buyer’s remorse.
Products that have been altered, used, or removed from packaging in a way that makes them unsuitable for resale will not be eligible for return.
Refunds
Refunds are processed via EFT and take up to 7 working days to process. EFT refunds may take 2-3 working days to reflect in your account.
Service disruption
Toy Cave reserves the right to limit or discontinue website functionality. In rare cases, technical errors may result in interrupted orders or data loss. Toy Cave is not responsible for browser incompatibilities that cause checkout or payment failures.
Termination of suspected fraudulent transactions
Toy Cave reserves the right to cancel or refuse to fulfil any order suspected of fraud. On occasion, our team may request a copy of official identification or credit card details to verify transactions. Failure to provide verification may result in order cancellation.
Intellectual property
All content on this website, including text, images, videos, and databases, remains the property of Toy Cave and may not be modified, reproduced, or distributed without permission.

Changes to terms and conditions
Toy Cave reserves the right to revise these terms at any time. You will be required to accept the updated T&C’s when placing an order.
Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. By using this website, you submit to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
By proceeding with your purchase, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these terms and conditions, particularly regarding the damaged packaging of the products you are purchasing.
